James led the early strategic growth of Avenor as Managing Director after co-founding the business in 2015. He draws on an extensive career in institutional-grade development and structured real estate finance with Leighton Properties and Investec to lead major projects from inception to completion for Avenor, having already overseen more than $12bn of development & investment deals while leading the firm.

Ben has over 20 years of property investment, capital raising, and leadership experience gained across Australian and International real estate firms. Since beginning his career in institutional venture capital and private equity funds, Ben has held roles in Funds Management, Office and Industrial Asset Management, and Capital Transactions. Ben has invested and raised close to $1 billion in new capital for wholesale real estate funds covering, core, core plus and development assets.

Roy Tan brings 23 years of experience in the real estate industry, working with Lendlease, CBRE Project Management, Savills Project Management, Acuity Project Management, Nettletontribe and GroupGSA.
Roy has a diverse project portfolio spanning across residential, commercial, hotels, retail banking, public and private hospitals, primary schools, and universities. There is currently no cure for dementia. But the answer lies in research. Wipeout Dementia supports The Dementia Momentum, which brings researchers and the community together to change the future of dementia incidence. Teams of all ages and surfing ability undergo rigorous surf training, culminating in a Surf Off to promote the relationship between physical activity and brain health.
Avenor’s team captain, Executive Director Peter Clemesha, believes the fundraiser is a great testament to the group’s passion for supporting this worthwhile cause.
